My approach
Short term psychotherapy involves adding support and clarity to a situation, so that the mental and emotional energy is released and life can move on.
Longer term therapy generally answers the need of serious distress. In such cases blockage is much more severe and stems from a seemingly insoluble problem – either one that has happened suddenly, or over a period of time.
The feeling of discontent that results is really the feeling of being estranged from oneself and feeling unable to cope with the uncertainty. Through the wholesome work of therapy it should be possible to feel your life running along the lines that it was meant to. Then you know that you are in the right place. The world is not changed, but your world is, and so a feeling of peace can enter your world. You can bear the uncertainty.

What are the costs?
My fees are negotiable, but I use a standard charging structure which is £20 plus 1/1000th of your annual income per session.
Therefore for an annual income of £25,000 the fee would be £25 plus the £20, equalling £45 per session. The maximum fee is £90 per session. |
Where do I work?
I have two practice rooms – one in London Bridge and one at my home, also in Southwark.
